Dear Readers, Welcome to my blog! Phew I finally did it! 2015 is indeed my year of execution. Those that are close to me have encouraged to go ahead and start writing a blog. This is because they felt I had a lot to share with you. I have also had the desire, but not backed by the necessary action. Well, I have finally made the plunge and I am very excited about finally having done this.
So why am I taking this plunge? My heart has always been to inspire, to encourage others around me to be the best they can be. I have had my share of triumphs and trials and through it all I am still standing, or rather soaring unto greater heights. Thank God for that. And really success is not really success if you are the only one at the top of the mountain.
A little bit about me. I am a woman of Christian faith, a professionally trained and Certified Accountant (from the UK, USA and Nigeria), having lived in 3 countries. I have owned an Accounting & Business Consulting practice in the United States, before relocating to Nigeria in 2007 (after 17 years sojourn). I currently head the Sales & Business Development department of a top Government IT Agency in Nigeria. Before then I headed a business solution division in a major multinational software company in Nigeria.
I am a member of the John Maxwell team. My areas of focus are Leadership & Small business coaching (of which I am very excited about). I am excited about this because in it lies what I am passionate about & it is a channel through which I can be a blessing with my God given gifts.
Last but not the least, I am a devoted mother of 2 wonderful children and come from a close knit family. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, reading, swimming, meeting new people, travelling (exploring new countries).
I intend to use this medium to work with existing and aspiring small business owners and their managers. My purpose is to enable you raise the bar in all your endeavours, achieve more and make a lasting impact on those around you
My goal is to write weekly with articles on leadership, personal productivity, and business management.
Have a great week ahead and here’s to your best year ahead! You can make a difference!
Question: What else would you like me to write about?
